We can visit museums and private clients to carry out a collection survey of any scale. Based on our examination, we will make recommendations for treatment, conservation framing and best practice storage or display. We also provide free virtual collection mini-surveys. Simply email us photographs of your collection to request this option.
What happens during a collection survey?
A specialist conservator will visit your premises or home. Each painting or artwork is carefully examined, with detailed notes and photographs taken. We will follow up our visit with a concise report summarising the condition of the artwork, which we will be happy to talk through with you. We can assign a triage priority level for treatment (e.g. urgent, non-urgent, no treatment needed). Our report will outline a treatment schedule for each artwork, give an estimate of costs and a time frame.

Does your art collection need a health check?
We currently offer small to intermediate collection surveys within an 60 mile radius of our headquarters. We are very happy to discuss budget options for survey visits nationally and for larger collections or museums. Contact us today to book your survey.
